The Product
Ommax Technologies’ first product is a revolutionary compound sensor design capable of high speed broad spectral imaging from infrared to X-ray in a single device. Pairing cutting edge machine learning with this sensor configuration will allow nondestructive testing to resolve features previously undetectable, in record time, with minimal downtime.
Our Mission
Ommax Technologies works to expand the boundaries of perception by developing and commercializing emerging technology related to how humans detect, analyze, and respond to the natural and built environments. We envision a world in which systems and infrastructure are made safer, more robust, and more efficient by minimizing ambiguity in corners previously unseen and maximizing our understanding of the world beyond the capapbilities of our own senses. We’ll accomplish this vision by relentlessly exploring new ways to see old problems, both with technology and innovative thinking. We seek out opportunities to add value for our customers and the world by enabling them to perceive beyond what is currently possible.
Technology
Whether in the oil field, at the chemical plant, or in the 3D printing lab, we’ll help you leverage our technology to understand more than has ever been possible about what is going on inside your tanks, pipes, or parts. With our technology you’ll know 10x more about your material in 1/10 the time.
Use Cases
The United States has 500,000 above ground fuel tanks installations, each of which requires a basic inspection every year and a comprehensive inspection every 20 years. These often require complete draining of the tank and are carried out by visual inspection or recording equipment and later analyzed. Not only is this time consuming but it is dangerous and often fraught with error. Our system will allow immediate and complete analysis of the entire tank faster and with greater detail than what is currently available.
